Pet Sitting (Cats, Dogs & Small Animals)
One to two visits per day to feed, water, exercise, play with and comfort your pets. brushing, cleaning of bowls and administration of basic medications is also included. House Sitting Included in your pet sitting is collection of mail/newspapers, turning lights on and off, watering plants, garbage/recycling, fish feeding, and security checks.*Option available for house sitting services only. Do you board pets in your home?
No, my goal is to make sure your pets are happy and comfortable where they feel most secure-in their own home-surrounded by their own things and sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. Do you do overnights? I currently only do drop in day visits at this time. What is your holiday service policy? A holiday surcharge of $10.00 will be added per day for New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Sunday, Xmas Eve, and Xmas Day. What do I leave out for my pet sitter? Please leave out any food, supplies, medication, or equipment needed for the care of the pet(s)including, but not limited to; a sturdy, well fit harness or collar and a leash for walks or in case of emergencies, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter, and cleaning supplies. |
When & How Do I Pay You?
Payment is due prior to the commencement of services and in order to secure dates. Payment can be made via cash, etransfer, or cheque. Do I get to meet you before I make a decision? Absolutely! We want to make sure it's a good fit for both of us. A complimentary Meet & Greet will take place in your home so I can get to know you, your pets, and answer any questions you might have. If you decide to book services there is an opportunity at that time to fill in the contract and hand over keys free of charge (handing over of keys does not usually apply to private dog walking). *Please note an additional trip to do this will result in an additional charge. What Is your cancellation policy? Prior to the commencement of services the pet sitter reserves the right to retain a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled services cancelled within 5 days or less notice. 100% of the scheduled services cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Should the pet owner reduce the term of service after it has commenced a credit will be offered for future use. |
